The Good of Green
Reconnect with agriculture, reconnect with the community, reconnect with your health.
What we do
Strengthening Our Roots

Connection
With eight hydroponics units spanning across six CBSD schools, we help make accessible the tangible wonder of agriculture for all students of all ages. Together, we grow our own community and embrace the power of connection with nature and each other.

Giving Back
We work with local farms to build events that foster an intimate connection with the community to form long-lasting relationships with the farmers, with the food, and with yourself. In the process, you can get the hands-on experience of working directly on the farm land to do the tedious tasks that farmers do daily.

Nourishment
We are working to bring hundreds of fresh, community-grown produce monthly right from the hearts of our CBSD classrooms. All of our produce is donated to our school communities and families in need through our partnership with Barclay Farmers Market.

“If people could feel how much farmers cherish their produce, they may learn to cherish it themselves.”
Alexis Cho, President and Founder
Our Story
Every Leaf Tells a Story
From seed to sprout
The Seed
After growing up in a Taiwanese farmer household, The Good of Green Founder Alexis Cho knew the effort it takes to bring fresh food to the table and the love the body feels from it.
The Sprout
Connecting with local farms and schools, The Good of Green now works to bring fresh food to CBSD tables and support local agriculture efforts to give back.
